Jim Muhwezi Supports Lifting of the Age Limit from the Constitution

•The chairperson of the national league of veterans NRM Jim Muhwezi, has supported the lifting of age limit in the constitution . Muhwezi while giving his views on the constitutional amendment bill number two has told the committee that all the unfortunate incidents the country has gone through have not been a result of having leaders above 75 years in power and hence it should be amended.

Muhwezi says the article is not important, adding that it can be amended . Muhwezi has also denied claims that the amendment is meant for president Museveni saying this will benefit every one including Kiiza Besigye who will have an opportunity to keep on trying. He adds that term limits should not be returned in the constitution as they deny able leaders a chance to keep contesting.
