Hidden jobs in Uganda

Finding a job in Uganda shouldn't depend on who your uncle knows. Right now, there is a massive "hidden job market" across the country.

Many business owners need workers but never actually advertise the jobs. Putting up an official ad costs money, and the moment a boss does it, they get flooded with hundreds of applications.

To avoid the stress and expense, they take the easy way out. They just hire a friend, a relative, or someone recommended by a neighbor.

Uganda can overcome these hidden job challenges by advertising all available government jobs on the Uganda Media Centre website. This will make it easy for all job seekers to find and apply for work.

Kampala:Trial of accused Rwandan National deferred

Hearing of the case in which a Rwandese National Moses Ishimwe Rutare is accused of illegal entry and Stay in Uganda, has been pushed to Friday 5th this Week due to the abscence of the trial Magistrate who is reportedly on leave. Rutare a tall, slim brown man was today supposed to start his trial before Grade One Magistrate Angura Fionah Shiella having been granted bail last month which he has actually honoured by reporting to Court with his Lawyer Daniel Walyemera.
