Where we place our money says what we truly believe in.
Walk through many villages in Uganda and you’ll see a beautiful, newly built church or mosque gleaming beside a primary school whose roof leaks, walls crack and windows are broken.
The congregation that raised funds, donated labour and gave generously to build the impressive place of worship are often the same parents who send their children to understaffed, under-resourced schools.
It leaves a question, are we investing in eternity at the expense of the next generation?
